From Takayama JR station/Highway Bus station, it is a pleasant 20-minute walk to Minshuku Oyado Iguchi:

1. Near Takayama JR station, there is a tourist information center. You can get a nice map there and ask for directions.

2. Walk north until traffic light is seen. Turn right into a main shopping street with various shops lining up on both sides.

3. Walk straight until Miyagawa River. Cross the bridge and then turn left.

4. Walk along the river until you see the big stone Torii (gate for shrine) then walk some more and you will reach Minshuku Oyado Iguchi soon.
