- Take the express train of Odakyu Line from Shinjuku station to the final stop of Hakone-yumoto station. You may have to transit at Sugami-Ono and/or Odawara station. Higher grade train called "Romance Car" with reserved seats are available with extra charges.
- Take the railway train of Hakonetozan Line from Hakone-yumoto station to the final stop of Gora station. It is a unique ride up the mountain with beautiful sceneries along the way.
- Take the cable car from Gora station to Koenkami station (only 2 stops away) then follow the follow directions below to reach Ryokan Kiritani Hakoneso.

Follow the blue line on the map to walk to Ryokan Kiritani Hakoneso from Koenkami Cable Car station. It should take 5 mins.
It is also possible to walk from Gora station (the red line). It is will a more difficult uphill walk and should take around 20 mins.
Within walking distance you can find museums (such as Hakone Museum of Art), parks (such as Hakone Gora Park), also numerous arts and crafts shops, restaurants, souvenirs shops near the Gora station. Also there are hiking routes that go up to near by mountains which give a fantastic view of the town Gora.
